Unit Test

Unit Test Day  Last Wednesday (November 6), we have an Unit Test in Purposive Communication but before we take that test, Sir Rainer discussed first how we will begin our research, he also discussed the do's and dont's in doing research and he added how to do an effective way making an introduction, body and the conclusion,  After he discussed everything, we started the Unit Test. I'm expecting the content of our Unit Test are full of Enumeration, Matching type and etch. But our test is we need to be answered in essay form. My favorite question there is what advice i would give to my colleague that teaches her student but seems not listening, my answer is i will tell her the strategy of 10-20-30 rule, 10 slides per powerpoint, 20 minutes to discuss per slides and 30 font size. I also answered that, you should control the color of your background for example when you use the dark color for your background then use light color for the text or vice versa.

Communication for Work Purposes            Communication in the workplace has evolved at speeds that were not even thought possible.  Evolution of Communication Face to Face Communication - is a concept in sociology, linguistics, media and communication studies describing social interaction  carried out without any  mediating  technology.  Face-to-face interaction is defined as the mutual influence of individuals’ direct physical presence with his/her body language.  Letters and Writing Communication - were the next step in the evolution of communication in the workplace.  Telephone Communication - were the next big breakthrough in digital communication during the time of their popularity but in the beginning you were.  Negative Side to Non-Digital Communication types:  Face to Face interaction is not always a reasonable methods of communicating overlong distances.  Paper notes or methods have to be left for someone and utilize man power

Communication comes from the Latin word " Communis " which means Common . And Communication is imparting conveying or exchanging of ideas and knowledge whether by speech, writing, and signs.  When we use technical equipment in communication it is called Communication Technology .  You can use other Technology.   Four Distinct Types of Communication Human to Human Communication  Human to Machine Communication  Machine to Human Communication  Machine to Machine Communication  Graphic Communication       It may be communicated by using drawing, picture, graph, photograph or words on flat surface. Communication Aids and Strategies Using Tool of Technology  Objective :  Determine the various presentation media that are commonly used.  Evaluate the effective strategies is preparing and using the media when communicating.  Identify the most appropriate media/medium in a given speech situation.  Apply the strategies in making digital slides.  Presentation Media           - It is a stand alone presentation that includes information, presented with slides, video or digital presentation and includes sound.  Using Traditional Visual and Audio Media  Overhead Transparencies - Transparencies are clear acetate pages displayed by an overhead projector during a speech.  Flip Chart - a large pad paper that rest on an easel allowing the speaker to record.  White board/chalk board - these materials can also help you achieve the same outcome.  Document Camera - is a projector device. Video - showing a video clip can elicit an emotional response from the audience.
